hey if u go to a tyre retailer they will say that a 215/45/17 is the bigger wheels you can go but i believe a 205/35/18 will fit no problems.

my question is if any one with 18"s on a first gen, how well did they fit and what tyre profile did you use

I've seen 19s before. Can't remember whos car though. 18s would fir but you'd need engineers certificate or something idk? Cos you can only go max 2" over you carS standard tyres. Elite has standard 15" so you can'legally' go to 17s no prob.

19" hell that would of been fun to fit. i just done like 17" coz they dont dont do it for me and also i wanna go lower

remember the tyres are gunna cost shit loads. im getting 16s just cos the tyres for a 17 were gunna cost way too much. if you can get 18x7 i rekon they will fit but if you have to go wider then 7 good luck with that

yer i think its a case of getting a set and fitting them

you can always find decent new tyres on ebay, especially in sizes 18 and under. i got my 16's, Dunlop Sports E3000 or something for $280 brand new for the set of 4

ill need a set of 225/35/18 but im sure they dont make that size tyre
