Anyone know the part numbers for Koni sport yellows and Boge dampers/inserts for AWD. Are they the same as the FWD? Are TJ AWD the same as TL/TW?
Cheers,
Alan

OK thanks. Found that info previously too but Koni doesn't list TL/TW. Wonder why?
Boge # are 28-b53-a rear
32-m47-a front
Thanks also. Previously I was told Boge numbers for FWD were front 32-M46-A and 32-M47-A which seems to be the same as your parts, and rears were 28-A71-A suggesting AWD rear dampers are different.
Cheers,
Alan

Alot of parts are not listed for TL/TW, I had an exhaust joint claiming that if i supplied them with a set of pacemakers to fit my TL, that it may not fit and it may cost me more to make fit as its listing stops at TJ. However, they said that if they supplied it for me, they would gurantee its fitment as they would know what they are ordering. My reply was, its only 1 variety of extractors that they make, and they all fit. I walked away.
The 3rd Gens are all basically nearly the same. its only the sheet metal that is the main difference, mechanical parts are pretty much same just minute difference from the 3L to the 3.5L in certain things eg. gear boxes

Alan,
I'm driving around on Koni reds from a ralliart so for TJ/KJ models, FWD parts are the same as AWD parts, definitely. Can't see any reason why the TL/TW would be any different though.
I got the same part numbers as you when I was doing my research, too.
Koni sports yellow part nos: 8641-1443sport & 8040-1299 sport
Boges part nos: 32-M46-A, 32-M47-A and for the rear 28-A71-A
KYBs part nos: 334272, 334271 and for the rear 341274

I just contacted Shaun, he suggested emailing him my # # so he can confirm but agrees the rear # is different but said that as sometimes happens they change part# over for the same part.
I'll keep you posted on this.

OK thanks for that info. With a few working at this we should get an accurate answer. How are the Koni red (special "D" ) going? I like Konis for handling but over many years have had issues with some leaking prematurely, probably due to poor quality control I expect.
What have members experiences with Koni yellow sports been?
Cheers,
Alan

I purchased the reds 2nd hand some time ago, not sure of how many kms on them. I've had them in 2 cars now & have done around 75,000kms.
They're still going good, but I think they're up for a rebuild soon. The last time they were out of the car, (5,000kms ago), one appeared to have what sounded like air in it, rather than oil. I'll be getting them rebuilt as soon as I can find a spare set of shocks & springs for the car. I'll post up how I get on. Hopefully it's not too far gone.

Have been about for ages supplying Merc, BMW, even early VW.
Now part of Sachs and ZF. Some will be branded Sachs-Boge, some Sachs, some Boge
