Hey all,
I have this weird noise which sounds like its coming from my front right tyre,
when i slow down to 25kph -0kph it makes a weird squeaky noise as the tyre goes round...
it sounds a bit like like an old creaky wheel
could it be a busted CV joint?
Cheers
Alex

Alex, could be the hand brake, i gotta adjust mine as this is exactly what mine does but i just give the hand brake a lil tease and it goes away.

If it's definitely coming from the front it won't be the hand brake

It could be a dry hub seal.
(where the shaft goes into the back of the hub)
My TJII does it from time to time.
If it gets bad enough I give it a quick squirt of WD40 and it goes away.

True. Thing is i thought it was coming from my front wheel also, but wasn't.
Could be the hub.

Have had the same problem, I thought it was coming from the front but raise the handbrake by a few millimeters while the noise can be heard and it stops.

I think I might have that same problem but mine is more of a pulsing sound rather than a squeeking sound. I think I will start a new thread and find solutions for my problem. Sorry to intrude in your thread.
