when i hit the wallaby, the front fan , the ac fan was badly damaged and the ac rad, is pretty bent as well.
the ac does not work, so i was wondering if it's connected to anything else. like the main rad. or can i just pull it out?

geez mate i cant remenber how the ac system is connected but if ya want i got all good parts if you interested

Haven't looked at a first gen system but most other aircons sytems i've seen are completely closed loop and nothing to do with the rest of the car, you can pull everything out without issue, main thing on most cars would be if the belt to the pump also runs other things and you wanted to ditch the pump.

Ps, if it's stil holding gas you're not meant to unbolt it.

rip the thing out mate. pull the compresor off the motor aswell. you may need a shorter acc belt.

not sure but you may need to get the gas taken out first.

Doesnt the ac fan kick in as extra cooling if your car is overheating?

i'll be pullng out the hat ac rad when i get a chance,

not sure if the ac fan normally kicks in for extra cooling, mine has been rewired by the previous owner so both fans work. except now since i hit the roo neither work, i think thyre wired in series. lol, so gonna try to put another ac fan in.
