a 1994 tr magna, I just bought her. there was a severe knocking from the head.the head has been reco,d just wondering how reiable the oil pumps are?

ok, can you answer this though

1. How many kilometer's has the car done?
2. Does it have a regular history of services, oil changes, etc performed every 5000km-10,000km or so?
3. If so, when was the last service?

oil pump driven by balancer shaft chain,won't stop turning unless chain breaks
is noise in head or deeper down?
