You know how TF 98 you have these circular things on your dashboard near the windscreen. Many people suggesting installing splits in there. At the moment my splits are glued to the dashboard using double sided tape.

The questions are how these circular things come out?
How can I feet my splits in there if holes will be much bigger then splits?
Do I need to create custom pillar?
Does anyone have pictures how splits look inside these holes?

when you say splits i am assuming you mean tweeters - otherwise we are going to have bitch slap you!!! haha

i have my tweeters screwed into the A-pillars!!

as for those circle things - if u get a screwdriver and wrap it in cloth - so not to damage the vinyl or whatever it is - just slide it down the side and it pops off!! you attacht the tweeter to the top of it - check your email for photos of mine.

my tweeters are just stuck on top of the circular things with double sided tape, with the cables disappearing down the crack around the hole. I've got a dash mat on my dash, and I just cut out a hole for each tweeter to poke through... looks very neat, like the tweeters are part of the dash, without having to cut any holes or screw any screws into anything. will post a pic tonight.

did anyone tried to create custom circular thing for the tweeters ?

Mine are mounted on/through the "circular thing" so they are flush mounted.

I pulled those circular things out and cut round holes in it and then made up two metal brackets and mounted my tweeters under there and they just stick out a little. they look pretty good.
