Hey guy's,

I'm in the process of trying to remove the ECU from my TW and i'm a bit stuck,i've pulled back the passenger side carpet and the metal shield to get access to the ECU but can't see how to remove it.

So could somebody please tell me how to remove it.

ps:kinda urgent as i need to get it to the post office before 5

mods:please move if needed

you need access to both sides of the console, so pull the carpet out of the drivers side too.

remove the metal panels and it'll be held in by a few 10mm bolts.

how'd you go?

the ECU will only come out to passenger side (especially when it's still connected to the loom). the major obstacle is the gear cable, but being an auto you should have a bit more clearance.
