I'm no mechanic - but my TE had a leak in the same area.

I recently bought the car from a dealer, so it was fixed under statutory warranty.

The problem was leaking cam and crank seals (I think that's what they called them).

Regards,

Luke.

where ever the leak is coming from id get it fixed, because the oil will ruin your belts if it gets in contact with them.

most likely a camseal problem, our magna is leaking too and the dealer said its a common problem on 3rd gen magna's..we were told its not too serious as long as its a slight camseal leak and can drive for a while and not to worry till our next service and wouldnt notice if we drove it more often (we drive it once a week 20 kms if lucky).....that sounded a bit dodgy

think the earlier its fixed the better

sorry to ramble on..just wanted to say not a srs issue as long as taken care of

yeah it'll definately be that... u can't see where its coming from coz its inside the covers, the cam seals are pretty dodgy, and dont really have anything to hold the in, so once they're worn they leak... mine were replaced at 90,000k's...
