My "check engine" light keeps coming on. I've had it serviced, and they said they cleaned out the codes in the computer, but it keeps coming on.
It comes on a few times, and then after driving for around 15 mins it goes away. The car feels fine and is good to drive, what could be causing this, and can I keep driving?

If the code keeps reappearing then there is something tripping it; resetting it only stalls the problem until the next time the affected component plays up. Best to actually check the code to see what component is faulty and R&R.

could be oxygen or coolant sensors and they are out of whack not sending a signal until it warms up, i know oxygen sensors do that.

I had a defective Oxy sensor which kept triggering the warning. The car used fuel at a rate few cars on the road could top...

mate i think the whole car was defective lol :D

Cheap shot....

But remember, it was a fleet hack car when new, and I was the best owner out of the last 3, it was behind the 8 ball to begin.
