For the last few thousand kms when I start my vrx in the morning when its cold, the engine will knock at idle for 10-30 seconds then stop(knocking). The oil in it has cheap 20-50. I pulled out the manual and it says 15-50 so im thinking (hoping) its just old thick oil and nothing more. So I bought some 15-50 fully synthetic and see if it fixes it. But other than this does anyone have any thoughts on it? -timing was done 35000km ago

Also I have kamikaze'd off to many gutters and my side skirts have seen better days. Its mainly those big bulky things at front that blend into the inner guard (they are missing). I went to a bishi dealer and they said they dont make these body kit parts at all anymore. So im looking for a stock replica or equivalent suitable side skirt replacements. I was going to make some fiberglass ones, but really cbf now. Is there any online sources or local Sydney sources that can help me out with some aftermarket gear?

Also check this out, hilarious.

There's a guy on ebay selling a vrx kit. The front and rear spoilers/lips are genuine and the skirts are fibreglass. He has had other fibreglass items listed at various times, so he may infact make them. Find the ad and shoot him a message.
