Hey Guys,

Was fiddling around with my map lights in my TW today was thinking I would chuck in some LED's whilst playing it sparked when I replaced the globe back into its home.

Now my central locking does not work unless the car is started. Interior lights don't work at all and the cluster in the dash is asking me to pick if it's a sedan or wagon 3.5lt etc (I believe this only happens when the battery is disconnected)

Also the car really struggles on start up like there is not enough juice in the battery, it’s like any 12v applicated power is not working.

I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow.

But any help now would be great. :woot:

Note: Wires have not been played with only placing the LED between positive and negative points without hard application to give the LED power as a test to see if I like it.

Check the fuses under the bonnet, encased in a yellow box. Better still check em all.

exact same happened to me a few weeks ago mate, the EXACT!
check all the fuses first, both under the dash and under the bonnet

but yeh, mine apparently was a loose/dodgey connection behind the HU

So how DO you get that little yellow box off to replace the fuse?? lol

This must be some sort of built in booby trap with magnas as I have the EXACT same symptoms with my Verada now after playing with the interior lights. I know one of the fuses is blow in the yellow box section under the bonnet.. but cant for the life of me figure how to get that case off (and I wasn't game to force thing incase I broke that too lol)

Got it sussed.. just got to be firm with it and pull it up to release the fuses :)
