After problems with starting towards end of last yr, the car completed stopped starting around last xmas. So the fuel pump was changed in my VRX (8 yrs old and 120k on the car). Now lately im having similar probs again, 1 outta every 20-30times the car would start then stall straight away. then start fine again, im just abit worried that it could be the fuel pump again, do VRX/sports have the same fuel pump as normal magnas? As this prob only happens once so often its hard to get it checked.

2nd question..as the car has done 130k and approaching its 9th bday, will the radiator be going soon? atm i havnt had too many probs apart from the temp gouge moving 1/2 bucket up/down from normal range in the temperature gouge.

Any info on above will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Radiator should be fine, as long as the fluids been changed regularly, dont see why it shouldnt go another 9 years if serviced properly. May pay to get it looked at to be sure

As for your starting problems, sounds like your battery. A lot of the time it sounds like you have an older battery that is starting to be on its way out. If its older than 2-3 years, thats what i'd be looking at.

plus when was the last time the fuel filter was changed and the stepper motor was cleaned as well as the throttle body

starting issues may be your battery
but might also be the contacts on the ignition stalk

if your unsure about the radiator then i would just get it checked out
better safe then sorry ;)
