For those who are after perhaps the rarest 380 package......

I looked at this one in the flesh on Friday, it is parked/stored near RMIT in Queensberry St.

The guy paid $41k for it 18 months ago.

It has the leather seats with VRX embossed logo.
It has the sunroof.
It has the optional bluetooth.
It has manual transmission.

It has only done a genuine 21000k's.

The Vin is around the 25000 build.

But...it is NOT LPG compatible.
He has crushed the right hand side of the drivers seat by sliding across it with great weight.

that is all....

Why does that make the seat shit?

Both previous owners didn't look after the very good seats. they were too lazy to lift their fat ****s into the seat properly.

My car is 2006 and 90,000k+ and the drivers seat has no weakness there at all.

Im the second owner and think that it should not be softing up at such a young age,Im no greyhound but no fatty either (built for comfort not for speed)and just dont expect this from a top of the line car, might just ask the question at next service and see what they say.And I do try not to slide in but sit in, to try and help the prob, maybe the previous owner didnt give a shit as I think it was a company car down the Mount Gambier way and probably a lard ****, who knows.

He showed me the receipts totalling $41k and was very keen to sell...I reckon if I offered him $18k he might just take it cause the rego is due next month also.

Yep, a real bargain, dodgy driver's seat notwithstanding.

If I had a spare $18k I'd made an offer.

I posted it up back on 12/09/09, check out post #40 in the "I want it" thread:

Just noticed this one for sale on CarPoint:

http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/...s=12&silo=1011

Series 3 VRX MANUAL, leather, sunroof, all the usual VRX gear, 12 months rego, only 21,000km, going for $21,000.

Sounds like a bargain to me!
KJ.

Why is $21,000 a bargain?

9 months ago I paid $17k for a one owner GT, with 28k on the clock. leather, sunroof, etc. First registered sept 2006.

Yeah Blue380 confirmed before that this is a rare combination, which he has too (except for Bluetooth). Especially the leather and sunroof in a manual VRX is a rare find.
Only thing I don't like is the car color.

I have a series 1 VRX with leather, sunroof, active mirror and in manual.

Rare as hen's teeth though.

Guys, this is a tech section

We appreciate the link to a cheap good car but perhaps the members lounge or the ebay section would have been a better place

Thanks
