hey, noob here.. just since today i have been installing audio gear in magna, its my first time installing gear and after installing the headunit and setting up the amp, i realised the amp had no power (no light)

ive already checked the fuse and cable in engine bay.. will re-check the antenna wire tommorow.. what you's reckon? is there an easy way to go about this? like using and ammeter or somethin

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Multimeter would be good to test if there is power on the cables, did you run a cable from your headunit to the remote connection on your Amp

That means when the headunit is on the Amp is on.

You can buy very cheap multimeters from places like jaycar and such will be fine for what your doing

remote wire is normally a blue/white wire
you've connected the wrong wire

when I did my sub install, the head unit had an 'ant cont' and 'power cont' wires, it was the 'power cont' wire that needed to run to the amp. (kenwood deck).

Yeah 'Ant Cont' will only run the Amp with the Radio on lol
