Anyone know the correct torque for the front strut to steering knuckle bolts ?
The manual says 95-105 Nm, but the nuts are starting to strip at 75 Nm.
Also, having disconnected the struts from the steering knuckle, will I need to get the car realigned when it is all back together ? I took the castle nuts off the top of the tie-rods, but didn't otherwise alter the tie rods.

hi no you wont need to get an alignment done unless it needed it before you started
not sure on the torque settings all i do at work is do them up with a rattle gun which should put the torque at at about
80 Nm

Thanks guys, I feel a bit of a klutz. Tightening the nuts, I couldn't get them to anything past 75Nm before the nuts started getting damaged by the split washers. Bought new nuts and tried tightened the bolt rather than the nuts, got them to 100Nm no trouble. Still on the learning curve it seems.
