hey guys.
I have a rattle (when i ramp up the sub) from the middle of the car, underneath. A friend had a quick look and realised if he sqeezed the heatshield where the exhaust is it stopped, and said that it was vibrating against either the exhaust or the underbody (cant remember) all i know is its embarrasing.
Can anyone give me a hand as to hwat i should do? take it to an exhaust shop and get them to look at bending/removing/jamming something in there or should i just jack the car up and jam something to seperate it?
cheers,
Presti

Had a similar problem which turned out to be the heat shield on the cat. The metal where one of the bolts clamps through had split so the bolt was doing nothing & the two halves of the heat shield were vibrating against each other. I just drilled another hole & bolted it up - problem solved.
