I was having a look under the car for some unknown reasons and it struck me that would it be possible to build some air flow plate or something to direct air to the front brakes like an Ev0 7's for better cooling?
Anyone has any thoughts on this or have done this?

could be done with a few holes, never thought of it though

I have ducts behind my front bumper feeding air to my fron't brakes. Works a charm.

Some cars do have ducting from special areas in the front bar - the A9X is a classic.
I was surprised when viewing an EVO 6, EVO 7 and EVO 8 that none have slotted rotors, they're all solid. I'm sure MMC have done their research and fitted the most appropriate thing, but they would aid in removing break dust and cooling a bit.

damn blake you must be drive like a crazy person ..... it takes me a couple of laps on the track to heat up my brakes for them to start fading.

Racing DSL0 after the cruze i lost my brakes after the first run (180kph down to 20kph) and it would have taken no time to cool down but we kept on racing, only cause it was so close.
At least once a week my brakes fade, if it wasnt so pricey to get slotted rotors i would get them in a flash.

if your brakes faded from one application from 180kph to 20kph either you cant drive or there is somthing seriously wrong with your brakes, i still have stock brakes on my magna and around the track brake from 170 atleast 5 times in a row before i notice it starting to fade and ive never had fade on the street. cant remember if the magna use's solid disks or vented on the front but you certainly dont need slotted rotors just vented and good brake pads

My TH has vented discs and i have slowed several times from ++150 without any issues at all.

Std brakes on mt TE are solid disks nd pads thats why they heat up so fast
