Not sure if this is normal, but when i accelerate in the TJ VR-X it makes a hissing noise, like when you stick the foot down and the turbo kicks in, yet I dont have turbo :p
Just not sure if its an 'ok' noise or if it needs checking out :kb:

I have checked the intake, i'll take a look at the hoses tonight and see if i find any hoses a bit sus.

if its the same hiss that im thinking of (the one after 25% throttle) then tis ok
aye check the vacuum hose near the TB running towards the firewall. Mine is knackered and needs replacing

ok=normal induction noise = nothing to check
but it pays to be certain...

aye check the vacuum hose near the TB running towards the firewall. Mine is knackered and needs replacing
I doubt you would hear that on full throttle. It would need to literally run through the cabin to hear it.
