Attempted to fit GE rear pods today as I am off work with chronic ear-ache (no, chantal didn't hit me :P ) and I have realised that the person who sold me the rear pods only supplied one fitting kit for the right hand side. How has everyone attached their rear pods, looking at 2nd genners who have also used these...tuffy!

I also made a cutout for the muffler using my new dremel imitation and I must say I am very happy with the result!!

Damn dude, sorry to hear on the fitting kit - Thats all I got with them - I figured it was for both? Hit up mits I guess, should be about $10 for a kit (I got an entire GE flare fitting kit for $40).

I went there this afternoon, they dont sell the fitting kits for the rear pods on their own.

may have a left hand fitting kit......and there wasnt much difference between left and right any way...either one will do the trick....

Few clips, some glue, probably get it all from bunnings if need be

no glue, there are a miriad of brackets, clips, and bolts. Might be able to get most from Bunnings.

have a look thought my members ride thread, i think i explained how i fitted mine. i used a few tex screws

the kit is nothing special, i thought it was crap anyway, i ended braking a clip and made my own.
you can come around and check out how i mounted mine if u wana get some ideas. nothing a few speed clips, self tapping screws and some black sikaflex cant do.

I had the same problem dude, they sell the clips individually... Lucky the mitsu spare parts chick likes me and ordered individual parts :) Thats about 40 seperate clips for the flare kit!
