Hi all,
stumbled across this one this morning and thought I'd post the link here for people to have a nosey at and if anyone's got an opinion... a bit dubious myself, wondering what sort of drain it would put on system and if it'd be worth it as a cheap and simple boost for those looking for one.

edit your post, remove all info, and walk away slowly like nothing has happened :)

this has been covered plenty and many times.... i believe if you did a search you'd get the idea that this thing ain't worth it. You are better off strapping a "electric" leave blower to your intake, that might actually move more air.

No need for that,
i'd be happy with 25% more power and less 3 gallons to the mile..

Would mounting two of these have double the performance increase? I was thinking since I have a V8 (two 4 cyl engines connected together) that two of them would be needed?!

Sorry, had tried doin a search but comp's bein a pain in the nads and wasn't lettin me. Thankyou though, for confirming suspicions. Makes you wonder how many people actually buy and try, only to be let down. Also wonder where they get these supposed 'dyno results' from, lol. My first thought was "Ooh, a shiny wiper motor on a pipe!" lol
Hey, I have an old vacuum cleaner motor in the shed, would hooking it up to an inverter and running that on the intake be better? LOL:gtfoslap:

You'd probably be looking at 40-50fwkw on your car Mic.

Unfortunately not quite double, from my experience you'll only experience about 75% of the performance of each when run in a pair, so only 60-75fwkw on yours.

but what about the majority of us that have only 6 cylinders? (1 4cyl engine & half of another engine)
do they have one that has only half the output to compensate for the 2 less cylinders? :P

that sounds alright, i might have to invest in one or these...

but after reading this, i have a V8 and buying 2 might blow my budget. :(

I also have a V8 maybe we can share one of them between our cars every few weeks?

just wondering, how many people here have actually tried one?
The ebay post doesn't show any technical spec on that thing, i wouldn't trust anything from those dyno graphs.
