Hay all

I really love manual. I have sold my car and looking at buying a TH manual sports witch is in ok condition. And a 2001 TJ solara automatic with the more powerfull 155kw 3.5l took the auto for a drive it seemed to have some balls but the manual was still quicker. Wat would the difference be between the two in a straight line.?

Thanks Kurt

Hmm.... maybe half a second in a straight line?

Yeah, and if it's a sports shift auto, I find that it can't shift from 5th to 2nd without visiting 4th & 3rd on the way, so if cruising and then planting it, probably over 1 second slower in auto mode to get from 60 to 80kph. At least with me driving a manual I think it's that much quicker.

It was probably on its last legs given the way he drives it :woot:

Depending on how much you want to spend, and if you are still bound by the white plates there may be some other options to look at (not just magnas i mean)

This guys got some brains lol. Sports has heaps more features than an executive aswell.
