I have done some searching but can't really find what kind of price I should be paying for the following on my 03 TJ wagon;
Cut, remove and weld the y piece - $160.
Lukey LR2779 exhaust with tip installed - $260.

?

I get a horrible loud rattling noise at 1800rpm. I'm assuming it is the Y piece and exhaust shop will be checking it out and cutting it out. At the same time i thought i should put the Lukey on it aswell.

Any recommended exhaust places in Western Sydney?

2000 TJ Solara Wagon.

Have that "hole in your exhaust" sound. Want something that will last 12 years like the original.

those prices seem fair,,, 2 hours to fix the y pipe @$88ph... even the muffler is very reasonable

I just bought that exact muffler for $198... I'll get you the info if you like, it pays to buy the parts yourself sometimes and just pay labour to have them fitted

Price to fix the rattle seems fair. I have no idea about the muffler, but incidentally, I bought a new centre pipe for my wagon today. Cost $190. (Supply only).
