Well some of you may know I have done a few minor mods to my car but haven't got round to posting pics. Well with thanks to Blake and his camera here they are. My version of the sport wagon grille, the gear knob I got last christmas and my recent door retrim.

And the other doors... Each door has its own idividual pattern :D

Forgot to add, did everything myself witha little help from my aunty doing the Zebra fabric, the black is a vinyl spray the original color was light grey, up and coming is full retrimmed seats in probably black velure possilbly with zebra inserts as suggested by Manual.

Looks good, love the painted trim.

A company in Ringwood will dye vinyl any colour you like, so I'm thinking
of getting them to do mine.

Although, after seeing that, it looks like spray could do the job.
Can you explain that process a bit more? Did you primer it first?
What brand of spray?

:noway: :stoopid: :badpc:

These smilies mean nothing but I haven't seen them posted before
so :spam:

Looks good!

So the black paint doesn't rub/wear off at all? My stock inside look like it was the same as yours - the carpet on the back doors at the bottom, that was died too?

I'm loving it, Braez!

I was thinkin of imitating the Sports Wagon Grille too but through a much more crappier and worse-off financially wise way! That is very ingenious!
Though, why did you leave the corners? Too hard to cut/sand?

As for the door inserts.....they look awesome! Great job with the dye.

Your car is looking awesome!

i'd have to say that your grill is the best mod (grill wise) that i have seen so far! even better than DVS's *ducks for cover* :bowrofl:

keep up the good work!
ps, some insight on how it was done would be appreciated...

Bogus ID : I cant for the life of me remeber the brand of spray I used as when I done it, a close neighbour took the rest of the cans to do his dashboard. But you can buy it from auto shops that sell paint just ask for a vinyal spary, it was in a black can and also does plastics and low pile carpets like on the bottom of the doors. I done 2 coats, no prime as this somehow soaks into the vinyl grain - so far no problems :D fingers crossed it stays that way

aRDEI : reason for leaving the corners, you may have also noticed in the ralliart grille too, is that they are support for 2 clips behind the mesh. Didn't wanna cut them off cos it may be too flimsy when I put it back on

Yeah wouldn't mind getting one of those Ralliart gear knobs like Braez's for my Auto.

It deffinately looks the goods, especially if it had a grey leather Elegance Momo boot (http://www.spoilershop.com.au/front/gearnobs/elegancegrey.jpg) to go with it or similar!!!

The Momo Automatico (http://www.spoilershop.com.au/front/gearnobs/aluminum.jpg) gear knobs also look ok aswell. - not sure if they would fit or not though.

Deffinately let me know if anyone out there can get their hands on one of the Ralliart items - Thanks.

The automatico knob is pretty expensive though, it's $185 at Autobarn. I reckon it would fit though.
