Guys, never had a new car warranty before so not sure if these two issues on the Missus SX are covered?

First off, the front passenger window looks/feels like it's dropped slightly. No longer flush and straight like the drivers door.

Second is the windscreen surround has come loose.

Anybody else had these problems and is this kind of stuff covered by warranty?

Cheers

Unless you have done anything to contribute to either of those problems (e.g. having a new windscreen fitted) then they should both be covered by the factory warranty. They both sound like water leak risks to me, so I don't imagine that they could just write it off as cosmetic or fair wear and tear. If it were me I'd just put the warranty claim in and then argue the point if in they elected to deny the claim.

Both sound like warranty to me, especially the windscreen.

You gotta get the window fixed, it might be stuffing up more internal stuff if you don't.

I've pulled one apart and there are a couple of plastic guides that the glass sits on, it may have slipped off one or the screw has come loose.

Pulling the door trim off is quite easy if you want to have a go....

Well, I've booked in for next week at the Dealer. To be perfectly honest, I could fix both problems myself, but I'm a butcher more than an artist so I'll give the Dealer a crack at it first.
