Little mid bass and no actual bass, very poor volume.

It's tolerable, but it's far from decent. You wouldn't need to spend much money to get something better.

normally a new h/u is a good starting point when upgrading the stock system
plan out what you want in your sound system (subs, amps etc) and buy a deck to suit it
you will notice a small difference when upgrading the deck

The sound isn't too bad for stock, im considering replacing the h/u and rear speakers and adding a sub to start with.

You wouldnt happen to be able to source a double din vga touchscreen with usb dvd player ? :D

i would do h/u, amp and front speakers (splits) first, but thats just me
