Hi , Just fitted M9 head and 34 ADM to my TN wagon Manual,now it's getting hot real quick.Just plugged up old carby water hose ? should this be connected back into water circuit ,as i think this is problem and if so where?

blanking of the coolant hose shouldnt be a problem

check the thermostat

how old is it the radiator cap and coolant ?

did you flush out the radiator before refitting the head ?

Will check all of these tomorrow,always looked after engine,oil,water, cv's etc . Had original head reworked/welded in 04 it finally gave up .2 large cracks between 1-2 and around welded area on 2-3.
Have looked and used most of your info on this site. Will let you know how it goes.
