View Full Version : TW seats - will they fit in a TH?

I own 2 Magnas, a TH and a TW.

I really like the front seats in my TW wagon. But they are electrically adjusted.

My TH seats are no where near as supportive. They are manually operated.

Do the TW's come with non electric seats? OR do any of the later than TH models have seats of similar design to the TW?

And the big question, if i was to source one of these seats will it fit in my TH?

Just curious, thanks in advance.

The seat rails/mounts are different. So its a no unless you want to fabricate something.

How about TJ or TL seats.

Or TH equivalent Verada seats?

TE/F/H/J all the same mounts/rails.

TL/W are different.

Or if you wanted you could use the seats of a KH xi.. they had electric seats

Will look into TJ seats and see if they are a better seat. Then try and source one from the wreckers.

TJ seats are the same as TH. Ideally you want a seat out of a Verada. They had much better padding and upholstery. And if you are lucky you could score a set out of an Xi with leather and power adjustment. They bolt straight in.

Sorry to hear that. Was it only the drivers seat that was an issue?

Yep, only drivers seat.

My advice would be go for the KJ Verada seats too.

Go for the Verada seats.
I have Magna leather seats and they have even less support than the standard exec seats that were fitted originally.
There is a guy on ebay for QLD that is continually wrecking Veradas (has 2 leather interiors for sale now),
check him out.

i can cofirm TE - TJ will bolt in, I just put TJ sports in my TE today.

Does anyone know if it is possible to lower the TL/W seats at all? I really need an extra inch of headroom. Fortunately I don't drive the car much, but when I do it's annoying.
