Hi, does any body know the product code for the k&n maf sensor pod filter for magna 3.5 tj. I read that they work well. Do they? are they a good cheap mod?

For the ~$90 you spend i dont believe they are worth it, The factory paper filter when clean has been proven to be just as good as any of the K&N products available. Putting the pod in a hot engine back and routing the air from there probably does no favours, maybe if you created a good free flowing CAI it might be worth your time, for the ~$400 thatd cost you an SKR tune would be much more time and cost effective.

CAI stands for cold air induction, its essentially a pipe, either plastic or metal which runs down behind the front bumper to collect cold air

SKR = steve knight racing, a tuner in adelaide who can 'unlock' your ecu to gain power and be more fuel efficent

Yeah sorry i have heard of this. but do you still need some sort of filltration at the end of the pipe? and i m in nsw would any body do this here? i spent a little bit of time navagating this site and it looks like WA, SA and Vic have all the good magna stuff.

That pipe running down to the front bar.. is it 2.5"? looks smaller..... ie TO small/restrictive
