Can anybody tell me where the isc unit is on a 2.6litre efi tr magna?
I reckon i know where the tps unit is.
I can see where the throttle cable goes into some sort of pully system
attached at the back left of the engine bay, then the cable goes
past the oil filler cap to the inlet area.
I've seen a picture of a isc, but can't locate it under the bonnet
thanks in advance:nuts:

Opposite the TPS, towards the firewall, in the TB itself, lower left corner, 6 pin plug.
There are only 2 electronic devices/sensors on a TB, the TPS (which you have seen) and the ISC, so just look for the other electrical connection in the TB :D

Hey there thanks found it. The car was cutting out when warm at traffic lights -
which i've put down to the ics.
This morning it was idling at 1500rpm at the lights!!!! Not sure if this is the isc
or just a sticky throttle cable.
then the temperature guage started shooting up, but the fan is not coming on.
I'm going to check the fan relay, which I believe is with the fuses under the bonnet.
what about the thermo fan switch - where abouts is this located?
cheers

OK changed the ICS today and the engine is not cutting out any more - great.
Now to the fan which is not coming on when it should.
I removed the plug from what i think is the thermo fan switch, put a wire
between each side of the plug, turned the ignition on and the fan came on.
So i reckon its the thermo fan switch which is crook. I'd better get it fixed before summer...
or leave the a/c on
