Have jsut ordered from Phillcom Boge shocks and King springs........can't wait to fit them. Quick question, MMAL manual shows the letter N next to the securing nut on the strut. Can't find in the manual what the letter N signifies.
Does one need to use a new nut? I get the impression the end of the spring is to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the lip at the end of the seat. Comments anyone anD if anyone can add any other hints for the fitment, please do.

hey there dickie77 the shocks should come with a new nut so you do not have to use the old nut and it does not matter what it says on the strut.
i now all this because i fit suspension all the time.
1/4 to 1/2 it does not matter it will still work.
