Thinking about picking something like this verada wagon up as my new car,.. but does this one look lowered?

What would the ride on a rada be like lowered. Poor comfort?

umm..yeah....really depends on the shock/spring combo...looks like some form of lows....and you have to expect a stiffer ride on lowered springs any way...again..depends on the brand.
How about this....take it for a drive and all your question will be answered.

Hmm,
Does anyone know if 3rd gen Veradas has softer springs than the Executive or Advance models and whether the 4 sppeed auto boxes were more reliable that the later tippys?

interesting bonnet for a "KH" it does look lower than standard... but its best you have a look at it. Could be a bad angle or old saggy springs.

Yeh that thing's been lowered. Look at the front mudflaps, destroyed by lowering related scrapage.

Just takes knowing what to look for, hey?
I like the look. Worried it'd ride hard.

I think that he means is that it's pretty suss that it has the KJ bonnet on it, and to be careful. It's not a big deal (it looks good, plus they still fitted a KJ Verada grille), but I'd definitely be asking why it was done.
Looks lowered to me too. Considering it still has the factory 16"s on it, it shouldn't ride too badly either.

Or maybe the seller just selected the wrong year when making the ad?

and also weren't the rear badges the chrome ones from TJ/KJ onwards?

On the back left of the tailgate there's a 'Mitsubishi' badge. TJ/KJ onwards only had the diamond, they don't actually have 'Mitsubishi' written on them. It's definitely a KH.

One day I'll get me a nice 3rd gen Verada Wagon. I don't think this one will be it.
Or would a TW be as comfortable as a Th or TJ Verada?

So a KH which has had a KJ front put on it? To the OP i'd check very carefully for accident damage when you go to see the car :)

Never been in either, but it wouldn't surprise me. Regular Veradas and Magnas shared the same suspension tune afaik, so the ride should be similar. I'm also pretty sure that the TL/TW seats were more comfortable than the TJ equivalent (not sure about KJ though).
If you need a wagon I think testing a few TL/TWs would be a smart move.
