TZABOY has one.
Advantages: Cool sound, higher air flow which equates to more power.
Disadvantages: Expensive, *really* should be set up to some sort of cold air induction for maximum results, at the very least a heatshield to stop it sucking in hot engine bay air.
Also you should get the oval one to suit the MAS sensor. There have been people that have used the round ones with no problems..but there have been people who've used the round ones and had nothing BUT problems...so if you want to try it it's up to you.

Yeah i had one on my TR V6. Fits ok (ie there is space for it) but as KB said above, getting cold air to it is the problem!
Sounds a bit better. I found my car seemed to run worse on a hot day with the pod than without but better on a cold night with the pod than with out due for obvious reasons.
Make sure you go for the oval pod though! You may run into problems with Magnas if you use a round pod

I have got a POD in my TS V6, and I mirror the comments of gremlin. My POD is Round though, and I havent had any problems as yet..
Sounds awesome on a cold nite tho

the pipe runs in front of the battery , veradas have a hole there that is big enough for the pipe to fit and then it is mounted just behind the front lip vent , drivers side as to get air :D

Actually i had a round k&n on my for months (it worked the same) but i changed it to an oval before putting extractors on it as Dave from RPW said it would cause me problems when i further modified the car. No idea if this it true or not.
Hey, got a similar setup to nicem8. Except I had holes cut into the bumper for intake air and
used 3" piping instead.

sounds like he was just selling more of his product.
i recommend the K&N oval Filer. Once installed it's a good idea to remove the resinator boxes on the intake tube between the MAS sensor and the throttle body. In their place get black poweraide lids and tighten back up. This will give you much more throttle noise, most noticeable with the astron but still makes the V6 sound very beefy indeed!!! I always seem to turn heads
