Good day guys,

I have 1 Orion HP10D2 subwoofer (10" 2ohm dvc, 500watts continuous /1000 max power) and I'm looking for an amp that will power this sub. I don't really play music too loud but I want to maximize the sub's potential. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

You will need to give a budget dude as their are amps ranging from $250-$1000 that will power that woofer :D

What else do you have running in your system mate?

Thats a biggish kinda power draw, with a low sensitivity (85Db), IMO, I would consider a Bigger Amp than the power draw with that one, or you wont pull the movement you're after with it underpowered.
Its better to turn a big amp down, than a small amp up. Dollars and Experience will prove this.

I think I need to re-phrase my first post, what I need to know are what to look for in an amp that will suit my sub. No particular brand or price this time. Thanks

@Mr charisma, I'm into basic install only, I got soundstream XT693S (6x9 coax) at the rear, soundstream XTC6 (6.5" component speakers) in the front and powered by V-Net 4 channel amp and carpc.

This is how I accoplished my audio project so far.

500rms @ 4 ohm or 1 ohm MINIMUM is required to run that subwoofer. I'm assuming your wanting something cheap then?

I'm pretty sure I can sell those for 320 including shipping, gotta check on that but it should be alright. More than enough power to get the job done.

No worries. If you want to spend more I obviously have better models. Your budget will define what I have to offer you.
