Was just trying to fit a set of 17" ROH adrenalins to my car, but the wheel won't go on. Whe holes line up properly, but the big bolt piece than normally goes through the centre of a stock rim is blocking the alloy from going on properly. How do I fix this ?
its not the Split-Pin in the bolt is it? u might just have to bend it out of the way. i had this problem when fittin my rims

Three important things with correct wheel fittings are: Offset, PCD (pitch circle diameter, the
diameter of the circle formed when joining the bolt holes) and lastly the spigot diameter (the
diameter of the centre hole). Where did you get the wheels from? If you purchased them from
a dealer then the spigot diameter should be correct. It sounds like the ROH wheels you've got
have a smaller spigot diameter.

I don't think it's the spigot itself thats blocking it, but the bolt that goes through the centre of the spigot

I think you better take a photo of it and show us the problem. The spigot diameter should be
exact as thats what the car is sitting on, not the five bolts.

Yea the spigot diameter is perfect as the two rear wheels go on perfectly. It's just that the two front spigots have big bolts that go through them and these bolts are what are sticking out too far and stopping the wheels going on
i.e. they are hitting the inside of the wheel directly behind the centre cap

does the centre cap have a metal clip holding it in place? if so, try taking this clip out and just fitting the wheel with no clip, if this fits then the clip must be in the way, and u need to somehow bend it so the nut fits. Also try without the centre caps, and see by how much it isnt going on.

That may be because you got the wrong offset so that there isn't enough clearance for the
centre cap. If you can live without the centre cap then leave it or put a spacer between the
hub and the wheel.

No don't use a spacer, not only is it unroadworthy (except where specified by OEM), it is darn right dangerous (in the former). You effectively reduce the amount of wheel stud that is able to be gripped by the nuts, which will affect clamping force + possible breaking off of the studs. The offset also shouldn't have any effect on the distance inbetween the mounting face and the centre cap; offset is the measurement of the mounting face to the centre of the wheel.
I think you're best to go and see a wheel specialist to see what they can suggest.
