Hey guys,
I'm on the look out for some rims for my car, I'm looking for something with the style of the RJR Linears, but seeing as they are discontinued I've gotta find something else. The two main ones that have caught my attention are the XHP Migs (http://www.bobjane.com.au/wheelset-details/wheelsetID/667/brand/xhp/ispt/Wheels/isu/46.html?sid=oa7t821nvg5d0pf0) and the Verde Madonnas (http://www.tech9tyres.com.au/index.php/wheels/detail/99/). I'm mainly interested in the XHP migs, but I'm unsure if the offset and width will be suitable for my car, idealy I want to lower it enough so it doesnt look like a 4wd but I dont want to have problems with scrubbing etc. I'm thinking the madonnas will be the most difficult to fit properly, and I'm unsure about what their offset etc is. What is the ideal offset and width to have on a magna as to reduce scrubbing etc.

On the XHP's,the PCD is fine, but I don't know how a 35mm (they are.) offset will go, under your guards.
BTW they are 35 mm offset on the 19's and 20's

Actually, QMD///801, runs 20" x 8".5' +35mm offset.
His guards are rolled. I also searched 35mm Offset and others have rolled there Guards with this size. But don't get them on My research.

I'm 8" wide, +38 offset and Low springs. Scraped on rear guards + front and rear VR-X flares... solution was to roll rear guards and remove the flares (although you can just trim them... not an issue on a Verada though :P). No worries now. I can't personally comment on 8.5" wide rims - I'm not sure how another 3mm offset + another half inch rim would go, as it's a reasonably tight fit as it is.

The lower the offset number, the further it will stick out. (38+ stick out further than stock - 46+)
Yes those wheels will fit with 235/30/20 tyres, (perhaps even with 235/35/20 or maybe 245/30/20, but the first one definitely will).

Higher offset means it'll stick inside the guards more, lower offset means it'll be more towards the outer guard. For reference, +46 is the offset the stock rims use. I'm only guessing, but +38 sounds pretty good for a 8.5" rim. If you kept the stock +46 offset, your new rims would be ~20mm closer to the suspension components, which may foul.

both rims looks sweet mate! great choice, ive got 8inch wide wheels with +35 offset and i had SL's on the front. the wheels petrude the front gaurds, but its never been a problem, just gotta drive slowly on bumps and stuff so when the suspension compresses it doesnt smash ur front gaurd lol.

I'm liking the madonnas more, and according to the verde website they come in 20x8.5 38+ and 5*115 PCD (I know its supposed to be 114.3 but I'm assuming thats what they mean) so if i get my guards rolled just incase I'm assuming they should fit, just need to find someone who sells them cause the site I gave doesnt actually say what PCD and offset they have.
