hey guys do many people no what the auto's in the 3.5 are like mine dosnt feel right not going down gears proply
is this a usual problem

How many kms are on the engine / trans?
when was the auto last flushed?
what colour is the trans fluid at? nice and pink / red with no burnt smell to it?
whats the fluid level like?

if its not feeling right, get it flushed - worse case, cant make it any worse, it should make it a happier transmission too.
use the genuine mitsu fluid / get mits to do it - doesnt cost that much really

is auto, or manual? And a good think is to check the fluid!!!

If 'by going down gears' you mean 'kicking down when I stomp my foot' they normally don't kick down into first above 45km/h otherwise it has to change up to 2nd virtually straight away because first gear is really quick. Don't ask me how I know this :p

If you're in doubt, get a powerflush done for sure. I'll be doing it in a few weeks when I start saving money again.
