so i finally got around to putting my chrome doorhandles(internal ones) in today, easy enough to do exept on all the doors when i was finished they handle sits sort of partly open(like you have pulled it out a bit but it just sits there). they seem to sit right until i screw them frame bit down, anyone know what im doing wrong? if i cant find any way 2 fix it im gona have 2 cut a bit of the frame out that i think is causing the problem.

don't cut anything... if you look on the back of your handle surround, you will, or should, notice a little lug. As you slide the surround in to the door skin, you want to get this lug to slide in behind the lock mechanism, if that makes any sense??

lol na i totaly just found a way 2 do it without taking it off(dam sarcasm doesn't work over the interwebz lol )

i ment when ur putting the surround bits back on over the doortrim
