Is there anyone here already did this upgrade?
Is it possible to upgrade the charge cable from alternator to battery?
I'm unsure if the magna's alternator is capable of this modification? Is it doable?
I know that the best way to do away from power starvation is to upgrade the battery, upgrade the audio power cable and to upgrade the alternator...I know that fact already...so don't shoot me down lol

i have gone nuts with mine,
alt to batt for +
alt to bat for -
alt to ground
batt to groung
batt to motor
ground to motor
no need to do it any bigger than 4awg either as 4awg will carry up to 150amps and im sure your alt does not put out more than that.

Big 3 upgrade = 0 gauge wire
1 Alternator to battery+ (fused)
2 Battery- to engine block
3 Engine block to chassis

You can upgrade all those wires but depending on how "extreme" your gonna go I would start with the basic's
0 or 2 guage power wire, Optima yellow or blue top battery and a 0ga ground wire from negative terminal on battery to the chassy
The stock alternator is 110amps and a replacement bosch alternator is 120amps
So depending on how much draw your system will pull, I think the stock alternator should be fine

Cool, so is this the right connection where I can place the new cable?

And yeah, battery and power cable upgrade will be in my list.
From what little I've read about cables, 4awg from Jaycar is rated at 110amp, so I'd be going thicker or higher rated cable than what Jaycar has on their website.
I'm unsure of the need for Optima type batteries though - in the past, I've run an stereo with 2x12" Earthquakes cranking and even a slot car track! from the stock little battery of my old 4 banger for hours. Haven't needed optima batteries yet, although I would have to replace those stock batteries every 2.5 or 3 years.
On my wife's little 4cyl Toyota, it's got a big 550CCA battery, almost as big as the one in my big 4x4 I had at the time. It did run the headlights all day at work and started without a hickup as though it was still fully charged though, not bad for ~$100 at BigW. After 3 years, it can only run those headlights for 4 hours and the car starts but a bit sluggish.
In my opinion, upgrading the earth cables can't do any harm, so if you are DIYing and you know what to do, go crazy! :)

Pretty sure thats where the charge cable gets connected
If it is then thats the correct wire

Correct, make sure the insulator is on (as i found out one night) as the stud is + but the casing is -, so dont just bolt it directly to the casing :)
you can always do a resistance test between 2 points and then compare with the upgraded cables to see if it does make a difference.
i wouldnt bother doing alt to ground as the alts bolted to the motor which is the best earth possible, just upgrade from block > neg
