Can anyone advise me as to the correct rear box to fit. I dont want to have something that drones too loudly and be to obvisous to officer plod. Someone told me that the original VRX box by lukey would be suitable. Also what would be the correct choice between lovell or king springs I want to drop it about 300mm to 40mm.

Anyone got any contacts to get these things cheaper in Adelaide.

i'm not really sure about the lowering, (has anyone done it 2 a AWD?) but i'd suggest the VRX muffler, or some sort of Lukey replacement, i guess they're pretty much engineered to be legal, and the AWD apparently has the drone problem all fixed up?

No I havn't looked into it too much yet.

I see no problem with the lowering as the rear recess is rolled and the front has PLENTY of clearance.

I am also going to look into the no bigger than 16' rimms on the car too. I can see that if you put bigger than x7s on it you might have trouble cause it already rubs on the inside of the wheel well at full lock but surely with an increase offset (and wheels arch flares) would allow you to add to that.

Lowering it super lows at the front and lows at the rear should be fine. Even if you look at the flat out package from www.Whiteline.com.au (http://www.Whiteline.com.au) you might find a good option. It might be more expensive but I thinkt he whole is better.

I rang and talk to a techo and I said lows rear and superlows front and he said "No I wouldn't do that" but then on the web site it says as an option to the flatout package that you can have lows on the rear if you expect to do towing or heavy loads.

So if you get three mates in teh back seat to go hooning weighin 250kg all up then guess what that is a heavy load so I would go the lows at the rear, also no scrapes when towing.

There are plenty of threads of what to put on these cars. Redback, Lukey, Magnaflow. Look around and you shall recieve the information that you require.
