have been a fan of lpg for many years and nearly all my cars have had it. never had many probs with it except one of my commodores had the converter go. but i tell you one thing that this system i have now on my tr is giving me the poo's. the system is only 18months old and is nothing but trouble ,it continually going out of tune mixtures need to be reset every 6-8weeks consumption is going from 14l/100klm to 17.5l/100klm,its just all over the place. now wont idle properly feels like the choke is pulled out chugs away and smells very rich. so have turned the tr back to petrol and it runs like a bird. i gotta feeling i'm gonna be up for a new converter somehow. if i didnt do 850klm a week i would be running premium all the time. basically just a cost factor.
i love my tr wagon but have been thinking of getting a lancer or nissan pulsar bit smaller and cheaper to run:wtf:

problem fixed i hope. moved the converter to a different position , put the stock airbox back on with k+n panel filter instead of a hi-flow pod. now it idles and feels like it has just as much power as petrol.

you'd be surprised at the difference between pod and panel sometimes.

i had a 4' pod on my car and it sucked the juice and was slow as all hell. changed to a STOCK panel, felt 100% better...

after all this time and problems with my lpg that it looks like we might have found the problem at long last. it appears that the gas installer has cut some wires something to do with the injectors and isc. i have known for a while that the isc hasn't been working due to it being broken. but that is not the case apparantly it has no power running to it. so now have to get that wired up properly and get the other wiring ( gas ) sorted out. hopefully then it will run properly as i am just about at my wits end with this car.:headbange
