hi i have a 1996 altera and the gearbox is like jerking from 2nd to 3rd have changed oil and filter still dose it when it gets hot any idears ? thanks

Have you had it fully flushed? There is a fair bit of oil still in the torque converter that doesn't get flushed out when you dump the transmission oil sump.

Go down to Mitsubishi or your local automatic transmission specialist and get them to flush it for you.

pimpin, did you change the engine oil, or flush the gearbox oil?

Also, you may want to try an ECU reset (Do a search for that one).

i just changed the filter and put new oil in it the oil that came out was pretty clean already , did not touch the engine oil at all thanks

The transmission should be flushed, not just the oil changed mate.

Give a flush a go, then also go through a relearn procedure on the transmission.
