Have had this issue for a while where my drivers side rear seatbelt sometimes does not retract. I normally play around with it and it eventually retracts. Any hints on fixing or do I need to pickup a new one from the wreckers?

Just get a new one from the wreckers, safer for you. Just make sure it doesn't have the red "Replace" Sticker down the bottom of the belt, otherwise you could get seriously hurt from it if you were to be in an accident.

I use mr sheen or furniture polish in the webbing

no and doesnt stain your clothes
