Hey guys, for some reason, my TJ2 Sports Sedan's ECU wont remember its settings when the keys are removed from the ignition. When I put the keys back into the ignition, the car asks me for the Sedan/Wagon -> 3.5/3.0 ltr thing. My head deck's clock hasn't been reset, as the time is exactly the same as when I gave it to them* (an hour late).
The car also doesn't have any remote locking at all. This kinda reminds me of what happens when you install a headunit and mix up 12v for memory 12v

When I remove the keys from the ignition, the LCD screen on my dash for the car computer fades away (instead of just an instant off). We have checked all the fuses and they're all good.

*I have just gotten my car back from a smash repairer for a cash job. I have rung them up and they aren't taking any responsibility. I was just wondering if you guys had any solutions to my problem. The car was working fine when I took it in to get the back bumper sprayed.

I really need to get this fixed within a couple of hours, and anything would be absolutely awesome.

How old is your battery? I'd say it's time for a new battery

if the car starts fine, after being left for a while and the deck not loosing power i dont think it would be the cars battery,

Was it just a bumper getting sprayed? Would they have to remove anything to do the work, electrical wise?

Car battery is fine. The car would turn over and start once it knew what engine model it was.

Absolute pain in the ****.... But I fixed it

The engine side fuse box has a little yellow circle thing that locks in two fuses. The 15Amp one was blown. The reason I couldnt check it was because it is an absolute bitch to remove, plus it didnt state anything computer related on the fuse box. Once replaced, everything was running as normal. I cant believe the smash repairer gave me back my car with the problem. Douchebags....

Anyway, I hope this is a good reference to anybody out there with a similar problem! Thanks for everyone's suggestions and support
