Has anyone fitted the factory blue tooth retro to a 380? How much was it? Is it a good system and worth it? I have a blue ant at present and wondering if the factory one will be better.
Cheers!

I have the factory one and it is WAY better than a Blue Ant unit

Honestly you could probably get ANY bluetooth unit that is hardwired (might save some pennies on a factory one)

Any ideas as to where you can get the Factory kit and how much? Is it really worth the cost a Dealer may charge?

I fitted the factory system recently around $430 from Mitsi and it comes with everything you need including pretty comprehensive instructions with pictures. Fairly easy job took me less than an hour making sure I did it 'by the book'.

It's a good system and works well.

What sort of vehicle do you have? eg vrx sx etc?

Is it true they all have the wiring loom already fitted for a bluetooth option?

Yeah it all just plugs in & is mounted on a metal plate which slots in nicely behind the audio head end. Like Group3 said very comprehensive instructions & a piece of cake to fit.

yeah I have one I got from the wreckers,

just a blue box from behind the radio and a switch for the dashboard, dunno if I missed anything.

also got the whole head unit and cd player etc.

$50 for the whole lot he wanted, how could I resist

Gents, I'm thinking of installing a Parrot CK3000 kit in my 2007 VRX, mostly because it's the same kit that I've got in my Mini (2006 Cooper S, factory supercharged, awesome awesome fun!!) and I already know how to operate it. The Parrot kit comes with a harness already wired up with ISO plugs, which in the case of my Mini made the wiring a piece of cake and just a matter of unplugging and replugging a few bits and pieces. Does the head unit in the 380 also use ISO plugs? Ta.
