I saw this on ebay, I wonder if someone here tried this product already.

...they also carry different year and other mitsubishi model.

Not worth the money mate, would no doubt be very similar to the resistor driven 'chips' that are supposed to be spliced inline with the MAF sensor wiring, this thing just fudges a readout no doubt, would be the same effect (ie; none) with a different way of doing it.

If you will look at feedback, everyone seems to be happy with what they got.

mate dont be gullable, feedback is forged to make people think its a good product. Inside the flashy box with lights is just a 1cent transistor from Jaycar or equivelent. Dont bother.

Get it and let us know if it works, i reckon its bollocks too though. I'd rather get my ECU reflashed, which i will be doing sometime soon

G'day mate, you may as well try if you have the spare cash that is, and let the others know whether it is worthwhile. Nobody can say 'it doesn't work' or 'it wont work' definitely if they haven't tried it, or looked at it in person before. I doubt it will make much of an improvement though, but you just never know. I've never heard anything about these before so it does seem a bit suss though...

Yes, the proven method is always best, and will prob work out cheaper in the long run :) Agree with you there mate. You could buy all the different ebay "AmAzInG HP b00ST TurBO" style products and spend heaps without any gains at all (or very very minimal), or you could get an ECU reflash for about $500 or less and be done with it, and have a proven result that you can trust will work better than any of those ebay gimmicks.

Also note that it works through the OBD2 port.

The TE and TF models are not OBD2 compliant. (I don't know about TH onwards) and thats assuming the thing works.

Don't waste your money.

This could possibly work, and if it does then you should be able to retune the little chip it has...

I suggest people actually look at it first, it's not a resistor.

Just because it has more componentry in it doesn't mean it does a better job than a resistor. It could have the internal workings of a Tamagotchi with an OBD2 plug and people will still think it gave them 50hp.

The assumption in this device is that it "patches" the ECU for a better map. I would like more details on the remapping, what parameters does it change, and how does it affect driveability and fuel consumption? I find it strange and hard to believe that a company called"volo" can produce a "better" map than a company called "mitsubishi". But by all means get one and let us know how you go.

DOnt forget about air/fuel ratio's.
Imagine if she started running lean. You wouldnt know and then the damae starts.

Steve Knight is the only option here, he tunes and then tests to make sure all is with in engine tolarances.
ANd he knows better than anyone else.

The dude's car made more power on the dyno AFTER the chip was removed!
