I want to buy a tow bar off ebay for my TF, but they say it's for a KJ. The description is

"MITSUBISHI TOWBAR
KJ VERADA
SEDAN ONLY
2000 - 2003
1200KG
INCLUDES TOWBAR TONGUE AND FITTING KIT"

I asked them if the only difference is the length of the tongue and got this reply

"To our knowledge the floor pan is the same and you are probably correct that the tongue length would be the difference. Unfortunately we are obliged to only quote what Mitsubishi says they will fit."

I reckon they are right and it will fit, and I'll need to get a longer tongue. Can anyone confirm this before I plonk down my hard earned and buy this tow bar please. Although, bidding has ended so it's probably a moot point now.

Just thinking the Kj would be a verada, which has a larger, extended bumper, correct? shouldnt it be more than long enough for you TF?

The one on my car (my old sedan) is a verada one from KF and went on fine
