hey everyone, thinking about doing an interior conversion to verada spec on my TL  and have a few questions, mostly in regards to the window controls. I know that the verada got controls on the front driver and passenger doors rather than below the gear selector and was wondering if converting that over is fairly straight forward? can I still use the same wiring that was on my original window controls that were used in the centre console or will I have to source the wiring harnesses (Is that what you call them?) that are need for the front doors aswell? I assume I the one for the front passenger door will come in handy but not sure about the one for the drivers door. Also..would this be an easy install?
thanks~

You will need the door trims too, You might be able to use the wiring harness from the centre console and extend it to the drivers door
But, then you'll need to make up a harness for the switch on the front passenger door
You should be able to leave the switch where it is currently as the Verada's have a coin slot thing there

thanks for the reply!

Should I try and grab the harness from the donor vehicle? I assume that would be easier

Wouldnt hurt getting one, would be good to compare the two

If you have skills with a test light or multimeter then you can just extend the wires from the centre consol but for a more professional job & one that is tracable in the future (by a wiring diagram) then dont even think of it get the harness might be harder to fit but you will be much happier with the job satisfaction meter.
