probably should state which engine you have - the 4 banger or the v6. in either case i dont think it will make much difference performance wise to an otherwise stock car.

Instead of a pod, get a K & N panel, might improve the car performace but only by a tiny bit

This is the question posed by the OP. Please keep your answers to this topic. Not do a DOHC conversion or Astrons are crap so why bother, etc... Sheesh...

if ur gonna get a pod, get the oval shape with the closed cone, otherwise get a panel filter... the normal pods give u a HUGE flatspot... i went back to the panel and havent looked back.

Talking from Standard v6 here But tried a 2.5" pod, 3" pod and 5" pod AND K&N filter and all did exactly the same thing..........Sweet FA......bit of a sucking noise when you tramp it...thats it......I'd personally get a cannon on the back of it if you want some noise, if not, DOHC conversion :shifty:
