Ok i did a search and got some information, but **** this window winder ***** is annoying me. ive put a screw driver and shimied a cloth behind the round cover and gone nuts, to no avail. :doubt:

looking down there i have no idea what u need to "un-clip"? anyone care to explain further

it's a C-clip.... Use a bit of Cloth, slip it in there and pull. but first you gotta know which way it's pointing. or you could use a pair of angled pilers.

good luck..

Tell me about it, this clip is a real S***!!!!

I followed the haynes manual and used a cloth between the winder and the round rubber spacer thingie for no result.

I bought a window winder circlip remover and tried that between the winder and the rubber spacer to no avail. I also tried it between the door and the rubber spacer to no avail.

I'll state again, this wonder is a S***. In the end I prised the rubber spacer away from the door handle to expose the clip and prised it off with a pair of pliers. It flicked off somewhere (which I have yet to find) on both bloody doors. Unreal.

If anyone has an easy way of getting this clip off without breaking or losing it, I would be most intrigued to hear it :D

use a small flat blade screwdriver and fit it between the door and the rubber washer.slide it in and twist it 90o and push it towards thelong part of the winder cause the clip is mounted so it pushes away from the centre mak sense?

make sure the clip is facing upwards and jam a screwdriver in there. easy as. if you dont put them back on you may have the winder fall off when winding the windows back up.

There not hard to put back on. Just put the C-clip on the handle and then push the handle back on :)
