Alright, heres the deal.

I have a series 2 tj magna, manual.

I've recently found out, what looks like a major oil leak. There is oil flooded on the front passenger floor. Its green in colour. I noticed it while driving on the freeway and steam started coming out of the dash and fogged up my windscreen. got home and found that the front passenger carpet was soaked.

But the wierd thing is that i've checked all the oil levels, power steering, clutch, brake etc.... and they are all full !

i'm trying to figure out whats leaking, but i cant find it ??

Just wondering if theres anything else that i could have probably missed ??

Cheers

Engine coolant from the heater pipe seals in the heater.

Do a search for heater core leaks.

+1 also, my dad had the same problem & found out it was the heater core leaking coolant inside the dash...

Oh snap! heater core!

Dash-out! I'm great at getting stuff out, just not putting it back together!

any recommendations where to get this done?

I had the same problem and the cheapest quote I got was from Ferntree Gully Radiators at $800.
Couldn’t afford it so I attempted to fix it myself, gave up in the end as I couldn’t work it out. All I did was remove the dash and make a mess of things.
I bought a bottle of stop leak with metallic filings in it. Worked well, still going after about 9 months with no leaks at all.

But it’s only temporary so waiting for it to leak on me again.

cheap fix (illegal) bypass the heater core if you need time for funds or something

Have a look at this thread (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59355)

On the second page i show how i replaced the heater core in my old mans KF Verada without removing the dash.
